AlphaPen provides OCR (Optical Character Recognition) API services for text extraction from images.

Acceptable Use

Pricing & Payment

• Pay-per-use: €10 per 1000 API requests
• Payments processed via Stripe
• No refunds for used credits
• Prices may change with 30 days notice

Service Availability

• We aim for 99.9% uptime
• Maintenance windows will be announced
• No SLA guarantees for free tier
• Rate limits apply

Data & Privacy

• Your images are not stored after processing
• We don't train models on your data
• Usage analytics are collected

Limitations

• Service provided "as is"
• No guarantee of OCR accuracy
• Maximum file size: 10MB per image
• Supported formats: PNG, JPG, PDF

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Terms of service violations
• Non-payment
• Abuse of service
• Security concerns

Liability

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services
• We're not responsible for data loss
• You're responsible for backing up your data
• No warranties beyond what's legally required

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
